BEING PREPARED FOR YOU FIRST TRAINING

The Drexel Karate Club stresses discipline of mind and body. You should come to training with a clear and open mind, ready to learn and explore what you are capable of. We train Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6PM to 8PM. We only accept new students the first week of each term.

The most important thing physically for your body is to be well hydrated. Being hydrated will insure you're body can handle some of our activities. Flexibility and strength are not important as they will naturally develop over time. If you have any health problems, please let a senior student know.

Practice starts at 6PM. Show up early so the senior students may help you register and explain our customs to you. No jewelry, metal objects, or anything that can snag are allowed to be worn during training. It is recommended you come in sweat pants, shorts, t-shirt, and a sports bra for females.
